S\u00edlvia Pinto, born in Braga, joined the Conservat\u00f3rio de M\u00fasica Calouste Gulbenkian in Braga at the age of 6.
\nThroughout her musical journey, she has had the opportunity to work with the following teachers: Jos\u00e9 de Oliveira Lopes, Peter Harrison, Ambra Vespasiani, Ettore Nova, Laura Sarti, Patricia MacMahon, Enza Ferrari, Carla Caramujo, Paulo Ferreira, Rufus M\u00fcller, Gabriella Morigi, H\u00e5kan Hageg\u00e5rd, Dora Rodrigues, Elisabete Matos, Martin Andr\u00e9, Ces\u00e1rio Costa, Marc Tardue, Stephen Darlington, Ant\u00f3nio Saiote, amongst others.<\/p>\n
She made her musical d\u00e9but in the opera A Raposinha Matreira, by Leo\u0161 Jan\u00e1\u010dek in 2004 (Rivoli Teatro Municipal, Porto), and in 2006 participated in Dido and Aeneas, by Henry Purcell (Audit\u00f3rio Adelina Caravana, Braga). Her part as a soloist in the musicals Saltimbancos, by Chico Buarque in 2009, and The Sound of Music, by Rodgers and Hammerstein\u2019s in 2010 must also be highlighted. As a soloist she also participated in the following: Stabat Mater, by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, Stabat Mater, by Gioachino Antonio Rossini, Requiem Mass in D Minor, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Requiem in D Minor, by Gabriel Faur\u00e9, Te Deum, by Marc-Antoine Charpentier, and Vesperae Solennes de Confessore, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.<\/p>\n
Of note is her choral involvement in the following projects, organised by the Casa da M\u00fasica do Porto: O Lobo Diogo e o Mosquito Valentim, by Eurico Carrapatoso in 2006, and the Missa da Coroa\u00e7\u00e3o (Coronation Mass) by W. A. Mozart, in 2007.<\/p>\n
She was awarded 1st prize in the Concurso Internacional Cidade do Fund\u00e3o 2014 and the Pr\u00e9mio Revela\u00e7\u00e3o in the Singing Category, Level V.<\/p>\n
Currently, she is completing a Masters in the Teaching of Music, specialising in Singing, under the guidance of teachers Dora Rodrigues and Elisabete Matos, at the Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas of Castelo Branco.<\/p>\n
She has been an integral part of Ensemble Risoluto since 2008, together with Pianist Jos\u00e9 Paulo Ribeira and Clarinettist Paulo Barbosa.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
